Madden Football 2005 for Pocket PC

Has anyone tried the PPC version of this yet? I'm kind of curious to see how it plays on the PDA platform.

Last time I checked it was only available as a shippable item in hard copy format...no downloads or demo's available. I'm a big believer in demo's before buying. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, but I would also like to know if anyone has tried it.

It works and plays quite well. A bit pixelated on my ipaq because it is VGA and the game is not. It's more like a version or two old if you want to compare it to the PS game. Play is very smooth and I still suck at it

Can you play with the stylus and if so is it difficult?

No, you map buttons to do the actual playing. Makes it a bit tough on the 4705 with the touchpad, but I have a gamepad and it works just fine.

This is definately a tough game to play using the PDA's own controls. It seems like every time I get ready to score a touchdown, my PDA sends me to the "Align Screen" menu and closes out the game. I am definately buying a gamepad which will make it much easier. As for actual gameplay, from what I have played so far, it is nothing like Madden on the PS2 (but do you actually expect it to be?).
