Arvale help

Hello,

I just recently got the latest version of Arvale!! I had tried to play the demo and kinda liked it, even though I have never played RPG's ever!!!! I am kinda getting the hang of it but was hoping any of you could help me out with a guide on how to find items or defeat enemies. I am on level nine and haven't been able to get the hero's amulet to get across the bridge, although I got the skeleton key and got some item that am supposed to take to someone, sigh, sigh...so many names to remember. any tips on RPG's in general....do you write stuff down or what???

Nope normally these games are pretty linear... goal tasked... you need to do this to get there... etc... You should be able to remember most of the names... however I have not tried Arvale yet... it is in my PocketPC waiting for me to find some time, but I hear it is rather large... so this might be a new problem you are addressing... maybe it is time to set up a category in my Agenda Fusion for Arvale contacts...

Thanks for the comment. I finally found the hero key and the amulet and got across the bridge. It really is a large universe!!! No kidding about setting up categories for arvale contacts......!! LOL.....

Actually I was kidding about the contacts.. but if you wanted to keep track of who someone is... or where you can find them... I would think that ListPro would do a good job. You could then aphabetize it.. with specific information in the note section... Not sure if this would take away from the excitment from getting to learn all the characters but... it might solve your problem.

I think it was given to me in the ruins (west, after you cross the bridge!!) I either opened a trunk or defeated someone. I am sorry but there is so much to remember.

After having woken up the dragon, I have just left the continent arrived to klumet (I think that's what's called)...Good Luck....

You might want to check out the PDA Mill Forums http://files.pdamill.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=12 on the company's web site, although as of right now, they are down. I have found the forums helpful when I get stuck in the game.

help,

could anybody please help. Can't find the original map that the king of entoque will give me (map is missing as well as the king's advisor) to take it to garef in blueharbor to make a duplicate of the original and depart to soneros.....help, please....can't access the pdamill forums either....

You must have missed a critical step somewhere. You must have talked to a character who told you that the King has the map. If you haven't done that, the King won't have the map. The advisor is supposed to be gone, so that part is correct. He is part of the Sorcynth conspiracy.

I did talk to someone who told me that the king of entoque fancied ancient stuff (maps included) that was the same guy in blueharbor that told me to bring him the original map, so he'd make me a copy to give the sailors. I went down to the entoque overworld to see the king and he gave me the key to his room and when I looked in the shelf it read that old stuff was there but a map seemed to be missing. So I am thinking that the advisor (conspirator) has it or something. please help, I sit at entoque castle in my room in entire despair....gawd, the things we do for a game.....sigh, sigh

The map is not in the bookcase; it's on the table toward the middle of the king's chamber.

I did find it there....guess I gotta be more careful going thru rooms and all....
I have found the ice scepter now and got a bit lost, and now after largely beating giant lizards for a while and raising close to 20K GC I am back at the ice scepter spot. Anyone know how to get out of the desert??? I was trying last nite but fell asleep, please advise,

OK, so now maybe you can help me out. I can't find the stupid ice sceptre. I have done battle with so many giant lizards that I am running low on health potions, armor, weapons and magic. I've been in the Vastid Desert for hours and have to keep going back to Blue Harbor to load up on supplies. HELP!

No worries. Can you get to the sign post at the beginning?? that's the starting point, follow these instructions and you'll be there. I followed them backwards and was able to get out, I am now starting at invyl. So wish me luck....let's feedback as much as you want, cheers

The way to get there is take a right at the beginning and then take the leftmost path (when you have three choices to go down) then follow that around and take the north path (when you can go north or west), and then on the next screen take the west path (not the north). Should be easy from there.

Absolutely! We seem to be at the same point in the game and seem to play at the roughly the same rate. Thanks to you, I hope to get this ice crystal thing taken care of tonight so I can move on to more adventures.
