If any, what good strategy are there around that would involve playing it on a long term basis...like Sid Meiers CIV...or...like Age of Empires...

Age of Empires exists for the PPC, you might also try Sim City, Everquest.

Ya Rishy, there's no doubt that the demo version of SimCity locks up, however, my full version is perfect. Another one I love is Tower Mogul.

I think that is the problem. The 1715 has 25 megs of Program, but I am normally running with 6MB free. I can get it up to 10.6MB free if I clobber everything running. The game still will not launch although it says it needs 10MB.

Atlantis Redux is good too and I like Fade as well. Right now I am playing fade because I remember reading about how the ending ties up some loose ends so I am trying to finish it. Unfortunately, I only get about 10 minutes a day to play it, but that is what I want...a game to last for a long time.

Another question I have is about whether companies are going to start making really cool 3-D games like the PSP has. They don't have to be that advanced, but I hate seeing PSP's and seeing the capabilities of them when I know that my HX4700 can do everything they can and more, but games that are that cool just aren't available. The game might have to cost quite a bit, though, because sales would be much lower than with PSP games.

I think, min. requirements to run AOE is 10MB free space...so, I think you need at least 11MB+ free...

I rather doubt software companies are willing to invest in the creation of new games for ppcs... They just aren't widespread enough, or advertised enough as gaming consoles. Most of the existing games are either clones of classic games, or ports of famous games, with a few exceptions. When I bought my 3870, there was no other small portable device nearly as capable of what my ppc was ( with the exception of other ppcs, of course). I expected some good native games to follow, and there were a few good 3d ones at the beggining (like tomb raider). But companies never went further... The ppc market is small, therefore games are few.

Why don't you try warcraft, but you need to tweak here and threre to make it work.
