Sorcery Hints?
Okay, so I'm stuck. I got into the sewers and now I can't find any way out. The only real options I have found are the bridge which crumbles and the steel gate in the sewer with the 4 panel lock.
Anybody got any hints? Also, how do I use an item in my inventory like a key? Thanks! -RCC

So far, there is no way to use an item in inventory. You have to pull the chains in a certain sequence to get the door open. Have you crossed the bridge yet?

Raynne413: Oh. Dang! I was hoping those were for later. I guess I will try to puzzle them out. I have messed with them but not in a systematic fashion. Is there some sort of obvious pattern that you noticed upon success? I haven't crossed the bridge.
Muxa: I have found the fountain. aardwolf: I have taken a key and the stone from the skeleton. Am I supposed to use the stone to keep the bridge from falling in some way? Thanks very much, guys. Normally I don't like being given hints but I let myself get really frustrated with this one. Hopefully I'll get the hang of this particular game soon. -RCC

Sorcery is the type of game that you will need ALOT of help with. LOL
As for the chains, I just pulled them everytime I walked by on the way to somewhere else, and eventually the door opened.

The best advice I can give with Sorcery is explore, look, search, etc. everywhere you can possibly find.

Well, unfortunately, other than the first and second part of mod 1 and the first part of mod 2, nothing else has been released.

Are you going there in IE? If so, there is an easy way to get there. Once the first attempt fails, click refresh. It will log you in anonymously, and you'll see a blank folder. Then, right click in the window and choose "Login As..." Voila!

FTP programs are always better than IE.

Well, actually... I used FTP Explorer, which tries to open up a second connection any time you want to download a new file. This got my old IP address temporarily banned from the server. Before I figured out how to make IE work, I was just using command line, text-based FTP.
