Does anyone with MorphGear know how to make the sound better? Its just a bunch of noise- i put it on 20 buffer and whatever and its still no good---

another question-

Does anyone know how to get games to go faster? I KNOW TURNING OFF THE SOUND HELPS---- but besides that, is there other tweaks for the software or axim itself?

i got an x5 advanced btw with the a05 and ppc 2003

This is a problem with Morphgear itself. The author is aware of this, but he doesn't have his WM2003 upgrade CD yet, so he can't fix it yet.

Keep an eye on the Morphgear forum in the bugs section.

Before playing games, put your Axim in 'Normal' mode instead of 'Auto'. Click on the cylinder on the switcher bar, then the 'Processor' tab at the bottom, to get to where you select the processor speed. Put it back to 'Auto' to save on battery life when you're done playing games.

woah- i put it on max performance and the games run FAST....lol great change--- so what happens if i dont put it back on auto- how fast will my battery drained (standard battery) say if i listen to mp3s and what not and play games

I run at top speed in the Axim, but then I use XCPUScalar in auto mode. I have it set to 200mhz when CPU demand is low and then 472mhz when CPU demand is at it's highest.
Battery life? Who cares. :) Charge it up if power gets low.

About 3-4 days of moderate use or a week and a half when it's 'off'.

While playing games, I get a little over 5 hours with my standard battery (processor set on Auto).

My dell axim x5 is working smoothly. Alot of games run with no modification at all. Doom and quake work great. quake 2 is pretty slow. pocketgb freeware works ok but freezes after about 10 minutes of play.
