What are the best poker games for the PPC? Are there any good free ones or do you have to pay for them all?

I haven't tried many but, I agree with allklrnoflr the Birdsoft game is great.

Realdice.com do a multiplayer Poker game - very good (but, alas, not free, although it does have a trial mode).

I have tried the Realdice version and the one from Birdsoft... both are enjoyable to play... my only disappointment is that neither play in True_VGA...

Strip Poker II Video Edition, by AIM Productions BV, is a very polished and entertaining Poker game. The graphics and sound are very well rendered, and the authors have managed to keep the program within the grounds of good taste, while adding much humor. The program has digitized voice, background music, and an exceptionally functional interface. The AI varies, with the opponent Mariah having fairly good poker skills.

We are not sure if the program is still available. You have the opportunity to download various opponents, of which Mariah plays the best level of poker, and is very pleasing to the eye!

Again, all is rendered in very good taste, fun to play, and the humorous commentary will keep you smiling.

are next on the todo list...)

Great update. I like having the no character option. It may be my imagination, but the AI seems to have gotten a little more predictable than it was in some earlier versions. Still great and challenging though.

Predictable? Oh man....! The AI didnt change from version 2.1 and that didnt change all that much from the previous.. So hopefully its just coincidence.....
