This came out a while ago (both in its original form on the Atari ST & Amiga) and on PocketPC (in Dec 2004) but never heard much comment on the PPC version.

I downloaded it a few days ago and was amazed at how faithfully it recreated DM. I used to play it on my Amiga.

Best of all its freeware (you'll find it on www.pocketpcfreeware.com).

The authors also made the sequel (Chaos Strikes Back) - which is not to be played by the timid.

Anyone looking for a fun party based real-time RPG with alot of depth - check it out!

It works perfectly with my HX4700. Great port, fast - none of that emu speed you usually get.

hey you're right swampy - when I installed it in my 4705 filestore it hung when I entered the dungeon. But it works from an SD card install - weird!!

Yeah I was surprised at the quality of the conversion - this must have slipped under the radar. Too bad there aren't any monster sounds as that was part of the fun or fright...

This is awesome! Ah, the memories flood back, playing DM until the wee hours on my blindingly fast Amiga 500 as a teenager <sigh>

Incidently, I get full sound on my axim X50v.
