Alright, for a while after reading their website, I thought that Atari ROMS might have possibly been made available for non-profit distribution now. However, after further research this afternoon, I have found that there are only a small handful of Atari ROMS that are freely available for non-profit distribution. Of course, any Homebrew open-license games are for the taking.....but a large majority of the original Atari games still have copyrights that are held by the original developers of the games. Therefore, because the URL you listed had copyrighted ROMS listed, I was forced to remove the link from our forums.

Feel free to continue the discussion of this Atari emulator, but Do Not Provide Links To ROMS, unless you absolutely know that the link does not contain any downloads of copyrighted ROMS. Thanks.

Any posts containing links to copyrighted ROMS will be deleted.

No problem at all. They make it look very legitimate, and had me second guessing myself a few times. It took awhile for me to discover that it was indeed illegal to download the ROMS from their site.

i will say that the emulator is fun to mess with. has a real good selection of settings and gameplay is enhanced by a selection of different controllers. :approve:

ok, really diggin this emulator, but it seems like the axim is too fast for it, some games are just unplayable.

Is there a way to slow this down? I even tried installing pocketDOS and running PCAE from the command prompt (needless to say, didn't work)

Any ideas??

Hmm have you tried manually setting the speed of the Axim down to like 208mhz? That might help.

How long until Atari games are public domain? Or did Disney's senator bribing $*#& that up too?
