running games....

ok, so I went here...

Free Dell Axim X51v Software / X51v Games - Downloads

downloaded a bunch of games, which says they are for the axim x51v.
Based on the instructions, you gotta change the zip file to a jar file. When I try to run it on my axim, I get a message that there is no software to run it. Anyone have any experience running this kind of file? or the files from the above site? If so, what am I missing?

your help is appreciated.

Hey,

Far as I can tell those are games for mobile phones, so they'll never work on your ppc...clickgamer or handango is the way to go IMHO for games... :)

Hope this helps..

Actually, the .jar files are used by java. In order to play them, you will need to find a jvm (java virtual machine) that works with Windows Mobile. There are threads on this site about jvms and you may want to try Google too.
