Video Game Recorder (i.e. WoW, etc.)

Hi all,

Just wanted to know if anyone can suggest a good (prefarably $free$...) video capture program to record video games on PC (i.e. WoW).

Thanks in advance!

Soti's Pocket Controller is the best / fastest way to do this. However, not even it will be able to record the video at the full rate.

That is, if it does turn out to be too slow (because you're trying to make a video of, say, an action game), you will need to use an external camera.

Yup, if he has a x50v/x51v, it's prolly the best solution.

Oh darnit, you beat me, Chris!

I already typed my post and all, then I read your post...

My only complaint with that, is that it is uncompressed video, so file sizes will be huge. (but it will use less CPU than if it compresses it)

Is he asking for a PPC program, or something for his Windows desktop?

A PC-based one; at first, I thought he asked for a PPC-based one, this is why I've recommended SOTI's app.
