indeed, the mods have more wisdom than us common folk.
i tried running FF tactics for GBA on morphgear and i couldnt even get past the begging cartoon sequence thing, it was running so choppy. and talk about hogging the memory! it ate up 20 megs on my RAM in the first 10 seconds
granted i do have a 300mhz but still ...
I agree with the mods gba and snes were a little slow and people reported probelms. This program is going to be even more demainding seems like. Think of the probelms with that!
Believe it or not, some PSX games will run as good as SNES games on a Pocket PC. I explained the reasons a while back in a post that got deleted because of me and my stupidity with an iso question. But basically, Playstation is much easier to emulate than other comparable systems. If you think about it, the PC PLaystaion emulator Connetix VGS could run on a Pentium 1, but any N64 emu needed at least a P3 to run worth of anything.

I have never tried the one you mention, but the emualtor I tried (which from the sounds of it, I should continue to forget the name) was a bit choppy on my 1GHz machine. Of course, including the USB PSX controller adapter I had a $3000nz computer emulating a $200nz console..... Now, running on the Ax could be useful. I've never tried the SNES emu, since I don't own a snes :crooked:
There's an explanation in their forums, explaining why the PSX is easier to emulate than the SNES or GBA, reading it may help.
I know there is a way to "rip" the CD's down by getting rid of movies/sound/music ect... I actually managed to get a game file reduced by nearly 200MB by taking the sound and movies out, making it fit easily on my 512 CF card. It isn't simple though, it has a lot of steps and variables, though it sounds like he may release an in-depth explanation on how to do so.
Given I still couldn't run the emulator they have there now, though it was for the Ipaq series, but supposedly the next version (FPSE-CE) has massive improvements for all Xscale platforms.
