How do you open a zip file on your PC? Through 3rd party software? Have you got 3rd party software for your Axim to open the Zip?
http://www.handango.com should have something. Search Pocket PC Software for ZIP.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

You have to have a Program that can work with Zip files, just like on your PC. HandyZip I think is one that works, as does Resco Explorer.

You have to have a .zip archive utility installed on your Axim in order to open them. Kind of like having WinZip on your PC to view them.....well, except for those of you with WinXP using the built in archive utility.

Just do a search on Handango for "zip" in the PocketPC section if you are looking for some software to handle zip files.

What exactly are you trying to unzip? If it is an installation file, then you need to run it from the desktop, not the Axim. I don't know of a lot of programs that are zipped for the PPC anyway.
