I finally managed to free up over 33megs of ram on my x51v and I still can't play 32meg carts with pocket GBA, anybody know what's going on? Has anybody been able to play 32meg games on the x51v? I'm using Lennysh's WM6 number 5 rom.
Thanks, all of my apps and games are installed to mem cards, but the 32mb games don't work as pocket gba only allows me to play 24mb games? It must be be a program error with the emulator itself, I can't think of any other reason. I'd love to here that someone else is able to get the x51v to run the 32mb games.
You just need to free up at least 33mb of ram to play 32mb gba games. If you need to, just modify the pagepool value to make more ram availible. I have a X50(mid) running WM5 and I have gotten enough ram to play 32mb gba games at various times.
I have freed up 33megs of ram it still is not allowing me to play on the x51v?
Check if it stays that way. Often if there is only a bit of space for space, it automatically moves the slider. I have 34MBs free and it works although I'm using an X30.

WM5 does not have a slider since ram is now used just for program memory, not for storage. There is a way to adjust the amount of ram for a WM5 pocket pc, although it involves a bit of work with the rom that can't be done on the pocket pc. You can free up more ram by changing the pagepool, although I don't recommend having a pagepool lower that 5mb.
