Hey guys, I have seen you can play Doom for pocket pc's. However I do not see the AXIM on any of the DoomCE supported list? How eles can it be played? Also, is tomb raider avaliable on an AXIM?

Yes it exists. Just visit EIDOS affiliated sites and you'll bump into it (or the usual PPC sites)

The version of Tomb raider that you can buy DOES NOT work on the axim.

The only way people get it to run on the Ax is to use an "ahem" modified version.

I can find nothing that says tomb raider for an axim or doom for axim for that matter. All the doom ce files say is for a specific system like ipaq or jordana, nothing about processsors. I am confused.

Tomb raider for ARM works on Axim. I played it.

I have down loaded doom. Haven't played it yet. I'm afraid of the memory it will use and the ability to get everything off when I'm done.

I can back that up. It is not that fast, but it is playable and will let you spend some time on it, but it is not worth paying more than $5. And that is for showing off your Axim's ability.. :p

Download the version for iPaq, as iPaqs have the same processor as the Axim.

You have nothing to worry about. If you install it to a storage caard only takes up memory when it's running. Close it and it doesn't use up memory anymore.
