Aximsiteactivesyncicon Custom Front End Loader for Arcade Machine

Hey all. I wanted to check with people before I undertook this project. I am currently working on a home built arcade system and would like to use a front end in the operating system to handle loading all the different emulators I will have on the computer.

I have looked around on the net for something like that and haven’t found anything that really fits the bill. I was wondering if anyone has come across a program or interface like this.

If not I am planning on building a custom front end for the system. It will basically be an auto run executable that will load in the Windows startup menu. So as soon as Windows loads, the front-end will come up. The interface will act similar to a HTPC front end for media files, except mine will handle loading different emulators. It will also give the system a nice polished look for the arcade machine instead of a generic looking Windows desktop.

Has anyone come across anything like this or is it most likely something I am going to have to create on my own. If I do end up having to design one, I will make it available once it is complete incase other people have been looking for something like this.

Sweet that’s awesome! :approve:

That thing is way over the top hehe. $25 isn’t bad for everything that one seems to do, but at the same time seeing it also makes me want to make one of my own even more.

I don’t think mine would be quiet as advanced but I really like the idea of a custom look on the system. Especially something that runs on top of Windows to hide the generic looking OS.
