Is there such a thing out for the PPC yet? Would it even be possible on an Axim?

It's possible, if you can tolerate a glorified slideshow ;)

Try Morphgear, previously known as PocketGB.

Yeah Morphgear is the only one right now, and it is too slow to be playable. Heck, even SNES emulation is too much for current PDA's to handle at a decent clip.
