Insaniquarium by Astraware is addicting.

http://www.astraware.com/games/popcap/insaniquarium/ a demo worth checking out. Very addicting since I really did not think this game was worth much.

I need help in installing the demo. I an able to unzip but I do not have any execution file. Just three .prc files. I put them on my CF under a new folder but none of the files will execute. I now see why they call it "insane" I can't even get in the water. (lol).
help before I drown.

I think you downloaded the Palm software of the game. Make sure its the PPC version.

As you double click on the Application it goes through the process on your pc then your Axim.

Hope that helps.

I tried this game but I had numerous problems with trying to luanch it after the first play so I was forced to remove it. I tried everything from installing it on my CF card to the main directory but nothing would work so I gave up. It is a great game though.

That's odd. I haven't had any problems with it. Where did you get it? From Astraware, Handango, or PocketGear? You might want to try to redownload and install again. Sometimes a download will corrupt and cause problems.

My first download was from Handango I think? Go straight to Astra and it should work. GL on a fix.

I know they posted an updated version of Insaniquarium a few days ago on the Astraware website. It may not have made it to the Handango and the other sites yet.

Actually, Astraware has posted a lot of updates. Mummy Maze and Seven Seas now have music :D. It's really cool!

Even w/ the demo you can play many of the levels.

Yes the fish are at times stupid. "Eat my FOOD faster!" LOL :)

Hi folks,

some of you may have seen me post here occasionally, my name is Kieren, and I'm the tech support guy here at Astraware.

This particular problem was one that only affect version 1.03 of Insaniquarium for Pocket PC, and only Windows Mobile 2003 devices - all others are fine. At the time of release, PPC2003 wasn't available, and we certainly hadn't been able to get our hands on one, otherwise this would have been fixed some time back :(

We've now fixed this problem, and released an update to Insaniquarium which fixes this particular bug, so Pocket PC 2003 owners can finally play it more than once, and you can get it here.

Now the bad news. We goofed :( There is a new bug in Insaniaquarium v1.08 which we are working on as a top priority, where the pet select screen does not display as it should. This put us between a rock and a hard place: Do we roll back to the previous version and leave the increasinig number of PPC2003 owners utterly unable to play this wonderful game, or do we bite the bullet and let this one ride for the moment while we get it fixed?

I voted the latter, so that new PPC owners could play the game and get hooked now, so that they could really get going once we've fixed it. I'd like to apologise to each and every existing customer who has downloaded the latest version and found this problem - it's my fault it's like this, because I said stick with the new version. Feel free to use the rest of this thread to flame me back to the Stone Age for it, the new version is in testing right now, and we hope to have it available to download Real Soon(tm).

Questions? Comments? Flames? Send them to me via support@astraware.com

Thank you for the update. I'm going to wait until you guys release an update to fix the bug in 1.08 but I still love the game.
