Getting Axim soon.........games?
I'm ordering my Axim this Friday and was wondering if any of the pocket emulators (NES-SNES) work on the Axim X5?? I have the good old super, but can't lug it around, so thought it would be cool to see if they have emulators for Pocket PC's. Turns out they do and I was wondering if anyone has had one successfully work with their Pocket PC?? If they do work, how well is the performance and sound?

I use MorphGear for all of my emulators (NES, GB, SNES, etc). Nes is great, even with sound. SNES is still a little slow (without sound), although some people have reported better results with 2003. I'm still using 2002.

Another free emulator for SNES is PocketSNES Bleeding Edge. Pocket Nester is the best free NES emulator. I still use YameCE for GB & GBC. There's even a decent free GBA emulator called Pocket Advance.

How well does the SNES one work? I use Pocket Nester and it runs great. I also run the PocketAtari which is awsome.
the biggest problem I have is with the buttons.. fat fingers I guess... sure would be nice to see someone come up with a snap on joystick for the Axim. John | ||||

Snap on joystick would be nice like the sony one. The CF USB card is like $120 isnt it? It would be cool to hook up a usb game controller, but probably have to have ppc in the cradle in order to play games. Oh, and does that gba emulator work well? It would be cool if there was an adapter that could connect a ppc to the gba link cable, that would be kinda cool.
