It should be a Nintendo ROM. BUT not all ROMs work well with the emulators so try all the games you have. Remember, technically you need to have a copy of each of these games at home....

BTW some poeple want to know where to get the SNES go to www.freewareppc.com and look on right hand side where it says new stuff. It has lots of other stuff too, best part is it is all free.
I was wondering what roms have you guys gotten to work fluidly. All the games I've downloaded, all stutter really badly or don't run at all. What games work for you?
SUPER NES and Gameboy Advance games will play very SLOW on the Axim (or for any PDA for that matter).
I bought the Hackmaster overclocking util and put my Axim to 500MHz, but all the games are still stutter-stutter...
Just play NES and gameboy/gamecolour games until they release a PDA thats 2-3x faster than the Axim 400Mhz.
You could play a RPG game like Chrono Trigger alright, but you'll have to have patience, since it will still be very very slow.
I have been playing Final Fantasy (the first one that was released on SNES, but I am not sure of the number) with not a lot of problems. The video areas are somewhat slow, but gameplay is fine. I tend to get 30 fps on the world area and walking around in general and about 7 fps on the fighting screens and videos. Oh, and I am using SNES Bleeding Edge.
