I've read several posts advocating the use of YameCE as a fairly reliable emulator. However I can't seem to find anywhere to download it.

I've done a search on Google but most of the sites are in an unreadable font or the links are broken.

Does anyone know where I can download this program?

Googling for "YameCE downloads", the second link is what you need. If you're getting a lot of results with strange characters, it's most likely foreign fonts. Simply got to Preferences in Google, and tell it you only want results in English.

Try that, see how you like it, and then try Pocket Nester and see which one you prefer. I happen to like the latter a tad better, but YMMV. They're small enough to keep both tho, if you prefer.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually using Pocket Nester already but I am looking for a good SNES emulator. My understanding is that Pocket Nester is only NES which is why I was looking for YameCE.

Is there another SNES emulator that you would recommend besides YameCE?

I didn't notice that it was in the download section.

For that matter the last time I looked at the download section it was designed differently. :)

What is YameCE emulator? Sorry for my ignorance, but it seems to be getting a lot of talk and I don't even know what an emulator is! Is there actually a way to play games for other game systems on our Axims?

Yes, an emulator is something that emulates another system. Like a SNES emulator, emulates the Super Nintendo system so that you can play Super Nintendo games on either your PC, PPC, etc. I think YAME emulates NES, and Gameboy. But I am not sure because I have never used it.
