Fade – does it ring a bell? Yes, in my opinion, the best text-based, “traditional”, non-ported adventure game for the Pocket PC. Now,
it’s available with a 75% off at ClickGamer; that is,
for $7.50 only. Don’t hesitate to get it if you haven’t already done so – if you like the genre or just gaming in general, you’ll love the title. For the price, it's quite a bargain.
Also, the, unfortunately, Palm OS-only
Acedior is sold for quarter the original price (that is, $6.25). If you do have a (preferably, Hi-Res(+)) Palm 5 device around, don’t hesitate to get it. As far as its Pocket PC compatibility is concerned, it, unfortunately,
doesn't run under StyleTap 1.0, the only usable Palm OS emulator for the Pocket PC. Still, I think it's worth purchasing even for a PPC-only user now that it’s sold for so low a price -
future StyleTap versions may become compatible with this great game and the 75% off is only valid this January!
Both titles are fantastic (I've played them both through; the latter on my Hi-Res+
Palm Tungsten T3).
