so i just got pocket everquest episode three

i cant get anywhere, i have made no progress past the character select scree, where am i supposed to go

am i supposed to go to this king stormhammers place in kaladim or sumthin, cuz every time i leave the port, i die within a minute from beetles, skeletens, lions, light balls, they own me!

i have it on easy difficulty and i am getting dominated, is it supposed to be this hard???

I also tried to go to the boat, which carried me to the city, but i get nothing done there except talk to a whole bunch of people who do not help me...

what do i do?
