Looking for NES emulator for my X3

Ok, I've already got PocketNester but the problem is that the left and right controls do not work, they show up as the same button in the setup. So I was just wondering if anyone knew of an other PPC NES emulators that the X3's d-pad will work with. I don't like to use the onscreen d-pad as I don't want to be pressing my screen and getting fingerprints on it.

Thanks.

I use Morphgear. Much better than PocketNester. Can play NES, SNES(Slow), Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, Sega Genesis, and a few others.

Thanks, I'll give it a try although I hope there aren't too many restrictions with the free version?

MorphGear SNES module is free, but the others require purchase. Definately worth the $$$ though if you play many games on your Axim. The SNES module runs awesome on the X3i (processor set to Max Performance). :)

You might also want to look at this:

http://pocketnes.retrogames.com/

The controls are programmable and the gameplay is very good

I did try this but it was screwing up my Start Menu, the drop dowportion so I uninstalled it.

As for Morphgear, I don't think I'll bother installing it if only the SNES part is free as I have PocketSNES and it works great for me and it's free.

Any other NES emulaters out there for PPC?

You could check out the emulators section at Pocket Gamer, although I am not sure how many are available. Unfortunately, a lot of free projects just end up abandoned.

I love morphgear for the Gameboy Advanced feature alone. The NES is cool to. Nothing like busting out some Mike Tyson's Punchout while sitting in traffic.

a lot of snes games run at 100% speed on my x5 advanced. some slow down to 2/3 or 1/2 speed (though i can sacrifice frame rate instead) but at least 2/3 of the games ive tried ran great.
