They're both so cheap right now, $10 and $7. I can't find a demo of Darxide, and the Anthelion demo I have doesn't properly install.

nope but I can tell you Anthelion rocks! definately worth the money!

I just bought both last week.

Darxide is a fast paced arcade style game with less story but is more playable. Great graphics and the game physics are excellent.

Anthelion actually has a story line (reminds me a lot of the Wing Commander), but I find the game a little slow. The quality of the game is excellent as are the graphics and presentation.

If in doubt buy them both! They are both excellent in their own right.

Maneuvering the ship in Anthelion seems a little sluggish or clumsy compared to Darxide, which has a more arcade game feel. Anthelion is still a fun game though, and its definitely taken longer to finish.

i suggest using the stylus to steer rather than the dpad if you aren't already.

Thanks Astounded, that made a big difference! I guess it pays to read the instructions once in a while.

I forgot to mention that Darxide is played in landscape mode, which I didn't like at first, but after I adjusted I actually prefer.

These games are awesome, no matter which one you choose
Anthelion is more "heavy" than Darxide, in that it is a more detailed game, while on the other hand Darxide is a simple 3D space shooter, reminiscent of the Wing Commander series

Play the demo of Anthelion. If it excites you then get Anthelion because the rest of the game is just as exciting...
