games and the d-pad

my roommate thinks that the axim is too fragile to play games on (i.e. pocketnester, using the d-pad and buttons)
what do you guys think?

Do you play with a hammer? If not, you should have no problems. Keep in mind though that this isn't a cheap piece of hardware so care is needed.

I use my Axim X5 constantly with Morph Gear. It's not perfect, but I haven't had any major problems.

My girlfriend and I play hours a day on this, and no problems. However, I do keep it away from my 6-year old who's constantly asking if he can play games on it. "No, son. This is daddy's gameboy." :D

I don't know about too fragile, but the D-Pad on my X5 is way too spongey and imprecise and the other buttons are terribly placed for gaming so I don't bother. The ergonomics of Pocket PC's leaves a lot to be desired.
