Has anyone played both in depth? I have tried the demo of
both, and argentum seems to have the best bang-for-buck
being three times cheaper and it seems to have a bit more
depth, but Warfare Inc. seems to have a bit more polish.
Any preferences either way from someone who has spent some
time with both of these?
I haven't played Argentum for probably 6-7 months. Warfare is my hands down favorite. IMHO the graphics are just nicer. I like the storyline, too. I just couldn't put it down til I beat it ... hehe! I know they are working on a multiplayer version of Warfare. That will be a real treat!
Probably the most annoying thing about Argentum is that I find
it harder to give direction to the units. Quite annoying to steer
them from point A to point B sometimes.
I think I played Warfare for probably for two weeks. It might have been a three, as I had a couple of missions that I just could not beat. I ended up going to the Warfare forums and asking for help.
My kids even love this game. They really didn't get into playing Argentum so much.
I would go for argentum. It is very playable, good story, and nice graphics and sound. Warfare Incorporated seems to be about big business. Who wants to play a game like that? That's real life. I want something else from a game. Of course I only played the demo.
