Which program are you using? If it's the venerable (IMHO lol) Pocket Nester, usually all I have to do is pause/unpause the game by tapping the screen twice, and it goes away.

YAMACE
Pokenes is horrible if your using that... it always freeze. You should use YAMACE or it's called something like that its the best and it never slows down on me.

i've found that pocket nester will slow down after awhile. was playin super V ball and noticed fps drop considerably.. i'll try the pause/unpause trick to see if that helps.

I third this - use YameCE!!!
I've tried the others, and they suck in comparison. Sure Yame has its problems, but other than those it is *perfect* in every other way (as soon as you change the language from Japanese!)
And it (I think - haven't gotten it to work just yet... tried, but failed) also plays GB, TG16 and a whole bunch of other systems...
Let us know what you think! ;)

For those who want YameCE, here it is, from Forgotten Files. (Grab the ARM version)

Your NES ROMs aren't zipped are they??
PocketNester supports zipped ROMs.
YameCE doesn't...

Hmmm
I don't think I've played any game long enough to see a slowdown, but I usually only have time for quick games...
I'll do some testing...

p.s. I was looking at the small screen size (without stretching) of the GB emulation in YameCE, and then I set my Axim down on top of my old gameboy.. Hey, it's not small!! It's accurate!!!! :-)
I forgot how small the original gameboy screen was!!
