ilbert Goodmate PDA - V1.02

How to install:
Execute the patch on the PC and follow the instructions of the setup application. You have to confirm to overwrite the current
installation on your PDA.

What's new:
- Optimized memory usage - needed application memory reduced to 12 MB!!!
- Using high quality music does not need more application memory anymore - also 12 MB for HQ music!!!
- Improved loading time between scenes
- Improved loading time when switching to option screen (used to get slow on many saved games)
- You can now load a saved game (if you have one) when you start the game and do not have to start with the beginning scene anymore
- Fixed minor bug that characters where not 'talking' (show talk animation) during speech if the speech volume was set too low
- Fixed delay after speech was ready in a dialog - now the conversation is smooth again
- Fixed a bug that in some rare cases the application just crashed
- The game should not crash anymore to the today screen - and if it does it should show a message box (fatal error) and quit gracefully.
- Fixed minor bug that the screen was scrolling when entering a new wide scene
- Fixed bug that the game crashed when an alarm, low power, etc.... message was activated by the system

Known problems:
- On some devices (iPAQ 38xx and clones) the sound might be deactivated after a power off/on. This is actually a bug in the OS. You can try
to wait more than 10 seconds before turning the device on again to avoid that problem - but this might not help in all cases!

I have not had a chance to play yet, but downloading and installing sure is a heck of lot faster than it was in the previous versions :).

I just saw this on the Z-Logics website:

If you have purchased the full version of the game - please do NOT use the saved games of the demo version!

They load just fine but mess up the whole game and the result are unpredictable problems in the game. If you want to play the full version, please start again from the beginning and delete all saved games from the demo version!
You can find them in the "/SaveGame" folder of your game installation and the files are named "GilbertXX.gam".

We will release an updated version of both the demo and the full version today which will handle this problem.

hopefully that's not too much of a problem....you can only go so far in the demo. Once you know what to do you can do it in a couple of minutes.

Anyone that has not played, I give this game
