Anyone have luck with Doom CE and WM2003?

Hi everyone, I recently saw a cool port of Doom to iPAQ from jimmysoftware which I reluctantly installed on my Axim. The game worked great at first with the original Doom retail wad file. Then as I progressively played I noticed that the game would sometimes unexpectedly quit during the middle of a game. Sometimes when the wad file loads, it never gets past the title screen.

I'm running Doom CE on a Sandisk CF card (same problem happens when I run from my SD/Built-In Storage/RAM) with WM2003. Does anyone else out there have this problem?? Or perhaps a remedy? :D Thanks a lot.

I dont have any problems, I use gfDoom 0.95
plays all the WAD's from the old games,
From doom, doom2, Ultimate Doom etc..
works great for me I run it from a SD card.

By the way, is there a method to increase the in-game screen?? I find it annoying to play with over half of the screen used by the skin. :hide:

Load the keybaord skin and tap the icon that looks sorta like a TV in the upper right of the screen. That will cause Doom to go full screen, since Doom was/is a 4:3, the screen is now rotated. It's a bit difficult to control this way, unless you edit the doomskin.txt for the Axim.

Go into the doomskin.txt in the keyboard directory and add the following lines to the bottom:

That will make the record button fire, the scroll jog shuttle in be open (both good for fullscreen play), and if you have a thumb keyboard, you can use it to change weapons (not really good for fullscreen play though).
