w00t! The developer sent me a version that he just compiled, and it fixes all of the problems that I had with Legacy (the double-tapping problem.) Not only that, but items are now stackable, there is a new interface for giving items to others, and enemies actually have a health meter!!!

I have been stuck in the fire empire for days! I have done the choose one forget the other section. I have done the checkerboard area to the south, even found the secret button to the holes. But thats it, one I get past the holes, I don't have the right key for the door in there. When I drop through a hole, I don't have a key for that door either. Can anyone help!???!?? I love the game, at least up to this point.

The holes were the worst part for me, too! If you got the secret switch in the checkerboard area, that's a start. I guess it's supposed to keep one of the holes from opening up - though I was too panicked to realize it at the time I played that area. I just kept going to the fountain on the left. I would get my mage set up with a spell so she was ready to go into battle right away. I re-entered the hallway following the timing of the holes and could usually get one spell cast before I fell into the basement. I basically just repeated this until I got rid of the creep at the end of the hall. After that you can walk down the hall. You just have to remember to time your steps with the holes or you will fall again.

Yeah those stupid magma monsters were hard, but I beat them, now I am stuck. I can't figure out what to do next. I must be missing some keys somewhere, guess I will have to leave the fire empire and scout around the rest of the world to see what In can find.
Have you finished the Ice empire? The two dungeons are connected. When you get almost to the end of the Ice realm, you get a fire key for the fire realm. I'm assuming the same is true for the fire realm. I just got as far as possible in the Ice realm, and now I'm headed to the fire area to see if I can use the key.

Hrmmm... I've gotten into the dragon's lair, and I now have the frost dragon blade. What is this you guys keep mentioning about the "house of <fill in the blank>". Is that somewhere I haven't been yet? Should I have gone there before the dragon's lair?

No, Lawson. You have to kill the dragons before you can get to these areas.
Have you tried the bow and arrows yet? They're great.
You have to go back and forth between the fire and ice empire a few times. And in the room with the many many holes, there are actually three different hallways, so try to get to all of them (I can't remember which ones need keys, though).

I've been all through the fire and ice temples, and am in the dragon's lair. I didn't want to explore too much until I was sure that I wasn't missing anything...
