New RPG to be released this Friday

Red Shift has announced that they will be releasing their new RPG, Legacy, this Friday, the 13th.

I have been beta testing this great, and I have really enjoyed it. More information can be found on RedShift's site.

That looks similar to Dragonfire that we worked on a while back. Should be a great game! Can't wait for Friday!

So far, I am highly addicted to the game. Also, they plan to release a level editor for the game, so people can build their own levels for others to download. I think that will add to the playability.

Unless something odd comes up, the game will be released tomorrow. I am pretty addicted to it.

One good thing about the game is there is a teleporter, and a teleport spell, where you can go back to any town that you have previously been to. Also, the physical teleporter will be what takes you to the levels that people will eventually make.

They are also in the process of developing an expansion pack.

Oh, and the card game that you can play in the inn is addicting, too. I spent an hour with that part of the game alone.

Oh...this looks grand! I've got to hurry up and finish ShadowGate, so I can buy one of these games guilt-free! Thanks for the tip!
Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end. Unless you're dead, then it's the end for you, but what would you care, especially since it's not the end for someone else. Unless everybody's dead...but then there are probably some aliens alive somewhere, and it's not the end for them.

I'm totally sucked into the fantasy RPG genre, so I do enjoy ShadowGate. The character inventory isn't the easiest to work with, and there is the constant concern with making sure you have lighted torches, but I find the puzzles challenging and fun, and I love the scenery. It costs more than I usually will pay for PPC software, but for me, this one was a must-have (especially since it costs less than many of the games I want!), and I don't regret the purchase! IMO, they deserve the award they won.

I gave up with Shadow Gate after dying repeatedly because of the torch issue. LOL

I hope you enjoy it. It is quite addicting. Be sure to try the card game at the inn.

Raynne's usually on point about these things. I'm scooping it up right now.
