It is not even close to possible, sorry.
There is a psx emulator that doesent run and has been in "beta" form for about 2 years, and still doesent run. It takes a good p3 650, and 128megs of ram to even get close to doing it on a desktop pc.
Not to mention, n64 is almost twice as hard to emulate than psx, so I would wait till ppc's get a good 1.5ghz.:D
Sorry to crush the party dude.
a long time ago, I had a 1ghz duron with 192mb of ram. It was so slow, it was unplayable.

If I recall correctly, some guy (forget his name) ported his n64 emulator to ppc and was able to run Mario 64 at 3 fps on a 300Mhz ppc. Sadly, he gave up on it and did not release it.

Yea, but do you believe he got 3fps? It was probly a kid that was good at photoshop and made a good splash screen.
However, it would be cool.

Not sure why this hasent been mentioned but there is a very good PSX emulator out there called FPSEce, there has just been a new release recently, compatibiliy is quite good as well as frames rates on PPC2003 PDAs, I havent tried it yet due to my severe lack of space on my PDA at the moment, but you can compress some PSX games to under 30mb. You can check the details at this site http://fpsearm.psxfanatics.com/
Plus on the PC there are good N64 emu's which I still play (Ocarena of time, goldeneye, perfect dark :D ) I use pj64, I only have a 1.1ghz athlon but it works just about perfect. Of course on PPC thats a different story, they say N64's design is just too incompatible and so on.... Boy do I wish I could play 007 and ocarena of time on my PDA....

I have tried that emulator a good 6 months ago when I had my x5 advanced, and it would not run. I have heard that the development didnt get to far. That is my end of the story at least. I would love to be otherwize shown, but I will need a video camera of someone actually PLAYING the thing to beleve it.
But, yea, n64 emu's on the pc rules, I use them all the time.

6 months is a bit of time, but I've been on a few forums and people talk about the FPSEce emu all the time and many say it runs fine, a while ago I acctually had a video of a PDA running Gran Turismo 2, it had to be running at least 15-30 frames per second no kidding, oh what I'd give to remember the link to that so you could see it.
*found the link but I think its dead since it was quite a while back.

**Ok found a new link check this out, these seem to be running an older version of FPSEce

Anywho, you can check this forum to see how well it fairs on peoples PDAs, the first one being an axim similar to mine. Also these results might be dated so you can expect better numbers from the new release.
