When I try to load a rom in pocketSnes I get a message that says "application pocketsnes.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" why did this happeen? and how can I fix it, I have downloaded another pocketsnes as well and I still get the same message. Any advice would be great.

most likely thr ROM file is bad if it's causing two NES emulatiors to crash. Try downloading another ROM image to try.

I think the problem was overclocking its the only thing I can think of. I tried overclocking my x5 basic to 498 with turbo tray, and this is when the problem began. Anyway did a hard reset restored it and ditched Turbo Tray and havent had a problem since.
