Where can you get the games themselves? Or are all games like this (i.e. through emulators) the ROMs that are prohibited?

If you bought the original game then I believe it is ok to use the rom file. I can't tell you where to find roms. It is against the rules here.

About to get my axim very soon, and would love to see a port of
Ultima 7 or Ultima 7 part 2 Serpent Isle. I think it would be very cool

I'm using Pocket Commodore 64 on an X30High, and it runs most disk images perfectly after I turn on the drive BIOS.

If you can find the Ultima disk images, you should be able to run them just fine via PC64. I know Autoduel's out there. I was just playing Pirates! at lunch. :D
