I would imagine not, I am pretty sure the only things
that would work on PocketDos would be ansi based
dos programs, I am sure the graphics just wouldnt
work right...

Have you tried Doom or Quake? they are exsisting
versions of those out there for the PPC.

Pay no attention to that site, that is fake, I think I remember seeing that site a couple years ago.

I brought this up couple weeks ago at pocketmatrix, heres some real info on Duke3D.

http://www.pocketmatrix.com/forums/v...ic.php?t=15155

These guys are quite knowledgable, so it seems like theres no real easy way of getting Duke3d on PPCs at the moment.

hey... who said it was supposed to BE easy?

porting ANY game to a platform different from (and especially inferior to) original release and keeping speed in mind is hard (no normal programmer would want months of their hard work to go to the dump when it's released because n00bs are whining that the game is running at all of 5fps on their 2 year-old Casseopedia).

Besides the programmers don't do it because it's an esy bit of respect... they don't work on a project for all of 2 days to get yay-ed to death by n00bs... they don't care about n00bs' opinions. They want respect from the very group that would immediately discredit any shoddy quick effort they make - fellow coders.

Well... if you read the first post (good idea to read the posts in the thread your posting in, especially the first one), the person who started this thread was wondering if he/she could run Duke3D using pocketDOS, and that answers your first "question"... as for the rest of what you said, I'm not disagreeing with it, but I suppose you speak for all the coders/programmers out there huh aximphreak, to paraphrase yourself...

who said programmers do it to be yayed to death by n00bs?
and who said programmers do it to be cared about by n00bs?
