Pocket NESTER controls help

Hey all,

Axim 3xi user and have been playing around with pocket nester today. Anyone else have problems configuring the controls for the d-pad? I can assign the buttons fine and the up and down on the d-pad are fine as well, but as soon as I try to assign left and right it gives me the same config # (0X84).
I read on other posts that 5x users were having no problems.

Would love your imput.

BTW...when I go to full screen, I can use the screen Dpad fine but that is kind-of a pain to use.

Thanks in advance.

By default the left, right, up, and down buttons should already be programmed in pocketnester for the d-pad, just don't programe them yourself and it should work I think.

I have experienced the same exact problem but cannot figure out how to get it to work! I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times but it still comes up with 084 for my left and right controls. Am I going to have to erase the registry entry for pocketnester? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I took my own advice and used PHM registry edit tools to fix the problem. I will now uninstall the registry editor because quite frankly it scares me to use it! Is this a problem with Pocketnester or with the X3i?

To the people that did get it to work when you reinstalled can you give me the left and right hex code that you use to get it to work so that i can edit my registry to reflect the correct left and right code?

Actually I just found it on the internet what the Hexvalues are. If you have a registry editor (I use Resco's) go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/PocketNester/Input/Controller1/

in this folder are 8 folders up down right left select start A B this is what the values should be for your Axim X3i

A - C5
B - C4
Down - 28
Left - 25
Right - 27
Select - C3
Start - C2
Up - 26

now depending on your registry editor you might need to add a 0x in front of the values. with my registry editor i just modifyed the value and when the screen came up i moved the cursor beside the old number and deleted it and inputed the new key value and it did the hex values for me. Let me know if you need help with this.
