Well I hear Morphgear is supposed to be the end all of emulators, but... it can't seem to emulate a freakin thing on my Axim.
First I tried to load some Final Fantasy SNES games, none worked, Out of memory error. So I thought maybe it just needed more memory than Pocket SNES. So I wait until I get my card, and now its installed with over 20 MB of system memory to work with, still out of memory error.
WTF is with this? Anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the help in advance!
I got a few games working, I was mainly trying GBA ones...none of them ran at full speed and I eventually just gave up. Emulators on PDA's have a fair way to go I think, don't forget, they're trying to emulate functions in software that are taken care of by specialist chipsets in the consoles.
could it be the roms??
It runs ok on my axim , but 2 of the EA megadrive (what you guys call genesis)
games give a access violation error a few seconds in a cause it to crash
the 2 games are starflight and rings of power btw as I'm curious to see if anyone else can get them working?

Check to see if you have emulate sound checked in the SNES module options. Some games will only run if the sound is being emulated (i.e. Lufia 2, Super Metriod). Final Fantasy 4,5,6 for SNES works perfectly on my PPC's. Since you have an X3i, I would have expected it to work perfectly. It still could be your ROMs. Copy them on your desktop computer and run them with snes9x to confirm they work.

I have much much more. As soon as I got my memory card, I unloaded everything off of the main memory and put it all on the SD card, so I have 20-30 free.
I found some nice snes and gba emus but sound is the issue to be looked at..... would't that be cool if you could implant a chip for consoles? like an sd :laughs:
Technically possible but unlikely to ever happen due to the legal connotations... unless Ninetendo themselves sold the card, and some way of attaching it to your official GBA cartridges....
