Great Game!!
A definite purchase when it is finished...
What a sad day... I'm addicted to a Beta version...

I play this alllll the time! I got the early beta version, which had a few little quirks, but this is the only game I haven't got tired of.

Excellent game, I've been playing it for a month or so - racked up over $30k in the career thinger now... I really need the full version :D I think this might end up being the only pocket pc game I ever buy - not a big gamer these days, but this game has me hooked, and it's only a beta.
mark.
p.s. this game is great for turning palm owners potty with envy... :D one of the guys who lives in my flat has just got a palm tungsten t3, and seeing this made him go a very pleasant shade of green :D

Agreed!
This is surely one of the best looking PocketPC games out there!
And it's addictive too!

I just played it for 10 hours in a 15 hour period. I can't get enough of it. The control is so realistic, that you can even develop your own style like in real life pool. I'm not the least bit bored of it. In fact, the more I play it, the more I can't get enough of it.
Anyone have an idea of a release date?

** Bump ** this back into circulation.
I've been playing the beta for a couple days and this is a GREAT game. The graphics are simply superb. This is what all PPC games should look like.
I hope the price is right when it's released...
Chris...

Here's really great news about Virtual Pool Mobile !!!
Start "chalking up" your stylus .... cause the final beta (0.26) is ready !!! :)
You can read about it here and you can download the latest trial beta here
Below is the latest info from the VPM thread at Brighthand.com :
Animation should be smoother yet still reduce power usage. If that is NOT the case, please let me know ASAP.
Up to $999,999,999 in winnings can now be displayed. Didn't think you guys would play so much.
The weaker players will often choke on the last couple of balls. Once you get past the first few rooms, this doesn't happen as much. Players will also have good or bad days.
This should be the last beta and the release should follow in a week.
Thanks for all your help and comments!

i have really enjoyed this game...a small cheat is in the design, where you can hit replay and tap the aim button to reshoot a missed shot....something probably fixed in the full version

I've been excited about a game or two before in my life, but this one is the cream of 'em all!
