What is a good RPG game for pocket pc?

while im waiting for my ax to arive i thought i would try to find some good software for... anyone know of a good rpg for pocket pc (prferebly free).... Or if you think another type of game is cool let me know ;)

Well, it is not free, and doesn't have great graphics, but for $12 you get about 65 different games. Here is Kyle's Quest Classic Again, not great graphics, but Angband CE is free. Win Hack is a port of the PC RPG NetHack and it is also free, but doesn't have great graphics, but not bad, either. Hope this helps.

If you like old school RPG's you could download Pocket Nester which is a NES emulator, then d/l some roms. Final Fantasy I, II, III, Dragon Warrior, etc... These are not offically free, however, if you do not own the game it is illegal to d/l the rom. But who am I to judge :D

Do a search in this forum for pocket nester. For the ROMS do a search for NES ROMS in Google.

Ahhhh, thanks for reminding me Mike. There is also PocketSNES Bleeding Edge which allows you to play SNES games. I am playing FF4 right now, and it is not slow enough to be annoying.

I tried one of the SNES emulators and it ran at about 2-6 FPS. Is there one out there that actually works? In the meantime, I'm having MUCH fun playing FF1 and FF3 NES ROM's. This is SO friggin neat.

Go with Pocket EQ...very good and fun game.

Go here to check it out! I'm almost finished (I think) with Episode 1 and Episode 2 is about to be released. :)

Well, the link I gave in the above post is the SNES emulator that I am using. I am playing Final Fantasy 4 and when walking around I get about 30 fps and when fighting I get about 7 fps. It is not bad at all.

FF4 drops to about 15 fps for me but thats still too slow to tolerate. I've been playing Dragon Warrior 2 on nes emulator

Been trying to play Dragon's Breed, but still have no clue how to play it since the maker has yet to release instructions and the game is quite complicated(it's a turn based war strategy rpg, sorta like Heros of M&M). but seems ot have potential

btw...kyles quest rocks!! i have the 1st(free) version of it,before it got popular...there is a color updated version now thats spose to be very nice!!

I have both Kyle's Quest Classic and Kyle's Quest 2. There aren't alot of levels available for KQ2 yet, but Kyle is sponsoring a Level developers' fund to try to up interest in it. :D

I highly recommend Dragon's Bane II -- a lot like Bard's Tale. Also give Nuclear Time a try -- post nuclear rpg.

that sounds like a good game,,can u get a link to it or advise where to download it?
i should get my ax today...but out of 3 ups drivers in my small town...none of them can find it on the trucks...website says its beig delivered...local office says its on the truck....i hope the ups driver didnt snag it cuz he heard how kick ass they are!!

I tried it out and got chrono trigger working right away. Unfortunately I havent quite figured out how to exit the program ... had to reset for lack of any other option. How does one exit it?
