is there a pockettanks/scorched earth style game for the PPC anywwhere? I would think pockettanks was a pocketPC game if i didn't know better.

there are lots of games like that. the most direct relative would probably be atomic cannon (http://www.isotope244.com/atomic_cannon_pocket.html)

but there are a number of variations on this theme and some of them are quite interesting. snails (http://www.snailsgame.com/) springs immediately to mind.
