Just tried the 2e emulator and it works. I had the desktop emulator version, so I had some images already. I played Karateka on the PPC and it looks, plays and sounds just fine.
Thanks for the link!

Hi Guys!
I think this emulator is great, but I have a question... How do you press "Escape". I have Taipan, and to start the game you have to press Escape, but I haven't figured out that one yet!
Thanks,
Carlitos

According to the readme:
Commonly Asked Questions
------------------------
Q: How do I press ESC
A: Use CTRL-[ for now.
Q: Can I save to disk?
A: Yes, just make sure your disk file is not read-only.

Yes, this emulator rocks. I am playing Bard's Tale III on it. The only gripe I have with this emulator is that it doesn't have save states, and you can't map hardware keys. A lot of games use direction keys, and it would be handy to map the d-pad to it... and not type the keyboard with the stylus in this case.

Sorry about asking again... But... I am trying to press CTRL-[ to emaulate ESC, but on my Axim, when you press CTRL and press the "123" key to go and find [, CTRL is not in effect anymore...
Any other way? Something I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hmm... Seems to me you are doing it a bit wrong. Just press the CTRL key and then press [. Don't go in to the 123 key.

Hi Lost Dog...
The thing is that the [ key is not in the same screen as the CTRL key in the keyboard layout on my AXIM... The CTRL key is the the "letter" layout whilst the [ key is in the "number" or "123" layout...
How do I do this? Thanks!
Carlitos

Thanks for your patience!!! Thing is that I use the large key options for the inpout keyboard layout, which places this item on the second page. I just change to the small keys and it's right there!!!
Thanks a lot again!
Best regards,
Carlitos

Problem with emulator
I had a problem with this emulator. I loaded it onto my SD card. When I clicked on the Apple Icon it said that the program was attempting an illegal operation. Do I need to load this program into my main memory? Any other tips for smooth operation?

Most games for the //e loaded on boot-up from the floppy.
If you have some BASIC stuff, then the typical LOAD <filename> and RUN will (or *should*) take care of it. I think CAT or CATALOG gave you the directory.
I got a //e at my parents house somewhere. Now I want to find it and see if it still works!
