Hi,

Wondering if there were any pocket pc games that you could play "multiplayer" with other pocket pc gamers via an internet connection. It seems enough people have wireless broadband connections as I do and would love to be able to engage in some multiplayer action against others. Know of any games? thanks.

I found another game that the makers "claim" offer multiplayer support via the internet. The game is

Pocket Casino v2.0

Supposedly you can play this against other players from around the world via a network connection. I tried downloading the Trial version but during the install process i was prompted to copy over an already existing windows type .dll file somewhere. I said "no" and cancelled the install process just to err on the side of caution considering i wasn't sure what i was being prompted to save over. Anyone else want to give this a try and see if the same thing happens to you?

Also Fritz thanks for the post, i'm going to check that game out. Let's keep the information flowing, i sure would love to play others from around the world in a game, any game at this point from my wireless enabled axim

There are 2 new comes coming soon from www.beardedtoad.com

They are both in beta stages right now and I'm testing both of them (one as we speak)

The first one is the classic game Battleship, fun so far but can't give out too many details other then you'll be able to play online (wifi bluetooth)

The second is BugLord,a wicked new RTS with great graphics, its got a tourney and other stuff for online play and more goodies that will really rock if they pan out.

More info as testing completes and games get ready for release.

This game was supposed to have it. I don't know when they're going to have anything though. Last I heard from Raynne they ran out of cash or something. It looked like it had potential. Oh well.

Pocket War version 0.97 is going to be released tomorrow. It allows up to four player to play over the internet and is happy running over wifi cards, modems, or through the sync cradle. Check it out at www.metalshard.com.

Advance Wars ROCKS!!! I play it all the time on Visual Boy Advance. Still stuck on Campaign 11 tho ... <grumble grumble>

Ah, this is somewhat of an old string... Well, I'll post anyway...

Oh yeah, you just gotta love Advance Wars. I just picked the game back up a couple days ago and started all over again. The next game in the series is slated for this coming this June. I'll defintiely be picking that up.

But, anyway.. If anyone knows of any other multiplayer strategy games, post 'em here. It's one of those genres I can't get enough of.
