I'm new to the world of PDAs and I'm wondering which one I should get for gaming. I want to be able to run all the emulators and games for the next few years so I think it would have to be powerful (and expensive). Can anyone give me suggestions on which to buy, I'm trying to stay in the $400 range. I'm leaning toward the Dell Axim X30 64 MB, 624 MHz but I'm not sure. Thanks for any help

My old Casio EG-800: hands down the nicest gaming PPC in existence. Button response, design, and layout are superb. Screen's gorgeous. Sound very solid. Body can take a beating, even a light rain. Problem is, almost no one writes software for MIPS processors any more. My kid loves it anyway, for lots of games and for use with Pocket Artist and Mapopolis. She's finally getting the hang of PacMan.

I haven't tried the new Dell, so can't comment on that. However, I have the Asus A716, and it is great. The D-pad is almost perfect for games, and the speed is good.
