Figuring out PDAMill's Snails?

I am an owner of Snails - I was sure that it would be
one of my favorite games. However, I can't seem to
get into it. Even in easy modes, the competition seems to
have unfailing aim at long distances (far beyond what
the screen shows), and the snail movement approach
is hard to get a handle on(using the little arrows and
jumps).

Yea, you should of gone with Worms World Party! It's a lot better, in my opinion.

Snails = HARD

I gave up. I am 32. My daughter completed the game though. (so she says)

Yea.. the computer does have unfailing aim, but with a little practice it shouldn't be too hard.

Also
use the teargas for 1 hit kill.

The teargas is a beautiful thing. Pay attention to where the wind is blowing. What also works for me is to burrow underground (the mortar is *perfect* for this) where they can't hit me with rockets or air strikes, and then use machineguns or chainguns to shoot long "tunnels" I can shoot through, but are too long for the enemies to shoot their missiles through. Then I just sit back and pick them off one by one with the nailgun or with various kinds of air strikes.

Once you play enough you'll get some useful weapons. The air strikes, bio strikes, and flame strikes are huge. Napalm (those red exploding globs), worms, and fleas are also great one-hit kill weapons, although harder to make work properly than teargas.

When you defeat the final level you get a nuke strike. Now that one's a fun one to use! (Also the way to see if someone finished the game - if they did, the nuke strike is in the arsenal)

Fun game!

Good tip with the teargas. Also, I disabled a bunch of options that
I found made the game harder (bouncing snails, self-damage, etc)
and am actually getting the hang of the game.
