Mame Ce

I installed Mame CE3 on my Axim and was disapointed to see it is still the same version that was available 3 years ago when I installed it on my iPaq. Does anyone know if there is anyone working on any other Mame for PPC software that is more up to date? This current version hardly supports many games and it does not work that well with the Axim, especially the sound.

Thanks xstream but i already know where to get old mame programs. The question was, anyone know if anyone is working on a NEWER mame for PPC that supports more games and has better sound?

hmm the site says that mame ce 3 was updated on "01/04/03"?! But, ok if you say it is an old version I will believe it *g*

I found v9.5 on a korean web site about a month ago...stilll no improvement on the audio (choppy). The roms that play the best are usually under 75kb in size...centipede, rallyx work pretty good.

In order to configure, a keyboard is a must have...
