game roms

Hey, I just downloaded an emulator for NES games, but I have no idea what to do now. I want to know how you can play NES games on the Axim. Also, I'd like to know where I can get legal game roms. Someone please school me on this entire subject.

No talk of ROMs on this website. There is no such thing as a 'legal' ROM and discussion as to where to find them is not appropriate.

Well, just don't go into detail, go to far with this, etc.

There was a piece of hardware that could extract ROM's from cartridges but that was back when a 150Mhz processor was cutting edge. Way before game rentals were envisioned. Good luck.

Yes lots of legal ROMs out there. As long as someone makes a ROM and it is there own creation (not super mario bros) then its fine. But most likely ROMS are considred illegal.

Let me rephrase my statement: "there is no such thing as a 'decent legal' ROM". Perhaps some lonely souls out there have created some crappy ROMs but come on now, the only reason you would download an emulator would be to play an illegal ROM.

Thanks, but it seems to be a touchy subject and I think I'll stay away from all that for my own good.
