Mikop, they are just about to start development on Fish Tycoon, and I am trying to talk them into doing a Pocket Pet. I've been waiting forever for a virtual pet kind of game.

Are the magic plants cool? I am just putzing along trying to keep my plants alive. It is no easy task.

Fish Tycoon sounds like fun, Raynne. You gonna be in on the beta for that as well?

Well, I can't see much of my magic plant because it is partially behind the fountain, but it has brought in a lot more visitors, and my plants seem to sell more quickly.

I hope to be in on the next beta.

I bought the game the other day too. I did this as much for this game as to get Fish Tycoon created. If Fish Tycoon is $10.00 I will jump all over that too.

Overall I rate the game rather highly like an 8 or so. The one thing that I dont like is that it seems like a straight port from Palm. I think the graphics could be sharper and more real estate used.

Having said that I gotta go check on my plants....

No, but you'll likely kill all your plants.

Although you can get seeds from dead plants that were already pollenated.

If you want to see your plants grow in a hurry, just speed up the system clock of your Axim by an hour or two. Your plants will be blooming. If you want to reset your clock, just pause your game and reset it. It kinda takes the fun out of the game, though. It also shows you how in the end life is futile.

I liked the game, but it could use a little more graphics... Seemed 2 simple, as i cruches thru the demo only losing 1 plant.

As for tycoon games, i like lemonade inc for the ppc.... Awesome game!

So how is everyone doing with their plants? I have discovered 29 breeds (0 magic plants) so far. Anyone know how many breeds their are?

I love this game. I bought this awhile back and had found all the magic plants. So, it is possible to find all four :-).

I love creating allien-looking plants. That is the fun part. I know some people went so far as creating matrix to record breeds, etc. I wasn't that serious a player.

I thought about going about it that way but it just seemed like too much work. So I am just mixing them up as I go.

I wish they provided some kind of genetic record string for each plant variation so I can tell what is what. I am having a hard time keeping track of how I got to each plant variation I have. They seem to reuse seed images, so I cant really use that as a guide.

Ideal would be to have a sort of "family tree" (so to speak) view as well as some kind of UUID for each plant you can keep track of.

It was fun for a while, but now I rarely play it since it has become more effort then fun. Hopefully fish tycoon provides better logging and labeling.

I wondered about that. Makes it kind of hard to know what you have if they use the same seed pics.
