Little Review on Flux Challenge I made

Hey, This is a little review I made for "Flux Challenge" Made by PDA Mill. I understand Im not the greatest at reviews but this is something I did on my own free time

Very rarely do you come across a game that has a very poor storyline but is incredibly addictive to play. This is one of those games. For instance they claim that this is "Mag-Lev Racing" But when you look at the ships you see that they are not "Mag-lev Suited".

Lets talk about the down points of the game. First off is the story line which I explained earlier. Second is that the career mode could use some work. For example you will win game map and if you come in first you will win money(Money is used to enter certain maps to earn even more money. It is also used to rent ships.). However, you do not unlock anything(Just about). The only way you unlock somethng is if you enter in the map. These maps will unlock in practice mode. Also you can unlock ships if you come in first in anyrace(You must rent the car that you want to unlock in practice mode and come in first to get it.)So if you beat a map there is really nothing you look forward to.

Let's now look at the good points of this game. First off it's completely 3D. So this is good for those gamers who hate those 2d games. Another good thing is that you can choose the view of the car you want(First person view, Third Person View). This can be very helpful because the third person view can get very difficult to control the ship at times.

Next up is controls. The controls in this game is very simple. You must press up,down,left,right on your d-pad.(This can be good for people who hate having 50 buttons to play a simple game) This brings me to my next point. You cannot control the speed. To me this game would be much more enjoyable if you could have an accelerator button and a brake button. But who knows? Maybe they did this to make the game harder.

Playing this game for the the first 5 minutes will make you decide that the game sucks. However, If you play it for a little while longer the addiction to the game starts to kick in. Very rarely I do this but I would rate the game a 9/10

Well if you read it for 5 minutes it sucks. j/k No I actually enjoyed it. And in the betas at least one of the buttons was a boost button but you had to get one of those floating glowing blue dots to charge it up so for acceleration you could basically go from fast to faster. Are there any glowing blue dots floating around the tracks in the final version?

Well actually I (Im pretty sure that there isnt a button for the boost although I touched the thing that said "Boost" on the bottom left corner of the screen to get me a boost). And yes although I think that their green dots now. :approve:

If you go into settings you will be able to map a button to the "boost" function

Thanks for taking the time with this review. Not really my type of game, but I'm the type of gamer that reads up on games that I'll probably never play. I say keep the game reviews coming!

Hmmm well Im thinking of opening a site that will be reviews on Pocket PC games/apps. And maybe some reviews on hardware. Do you guys think it would be worth it?
