I love my copy of zelda on my NES and have now got it on my AXIM!! BUT......The saves don't work, next time I load it there all gone! The save state on pocketNES messes up all the sprits

I just use the save built into the game, and it works fine. The save state in the emulator messed up my graphics too, so I avoid that.

The save does not seem to work, when I exit the ROM next time the save game has vannished??

Are you using pocked NEStor? You said pocketnes, which I've never heard of. I'm using pocket nestor and it works great.

I'm using pocketNester 0.5.3, save games in zelda don't seem to work! Any ideas?

(These tips are based on my experiences with Star Tropics and Solstace) If you're saving the state of a game only to have the graphics choof on you when you come back later, what I try to do is either (1) save the state near where the graphics change (like the edge of a town, the enterance or exit to a cave, etc.) or (2) save the state and then when I come back, play the game until I'm in a location that is similar in appearance and then load the state.

Yeah, I used that technique when I saved zelda, if you save near the entrance to a level, just go in and come back out and the graphics reset. I am also using Pocketnester, I like it much better than PocketNES, it's worked better too.
