Looking for the name of a game
Many years ago I played a game and can't remember the name of it. It was a helicopter game that you blasted a hole in the ground and flew through caverns and rescued personnel. You blasted through walls and blew up different sites underground. Anyone have any ideas as to what the name of the game is? Who made it and what system it was made for?

Thanks for any help that can be offered

I don't know about blasting holes in walls, but what you're describing sounds very much like Choplifter.

I will check it out and see if that is the one I am thinking about. Nostalgia is setting in.

Thanks

Was it a top-view game? Or a side-scrolling game (i.e. like mario)? If it is side scrolling, you could be talking about Cobra Command? Another game I remember was Tiger Heli.

Was it a helicopter, or a guy with a helicopter backpack? Because that was called H.E.R.O. - it sounds just like what you're talking about.

Game
Not Chopper Command. It was a oldie. Can't remember if I played it on a old atari, vic 20, colico vision, or what. This was about 20 years ago. I had a old Sinclair 1000 handheld computer that hooked up to a tv. Might have even been playing it on that. I just can't remember. Also not choplifter. That was the first thing I checked. Guess i will just have to keep on guessing.

Thanks All

Still nothing
I even owned one of the first Tandy TRS 80 black and white computers. I know it wasn't played on that because I definitely remember color. Its not Alsheimers I have.................Its halfheimers. I remember what I want to and forget the rest.

This game sounds a lot like Fort Apocalypse, a game for the Commodore 64. I spent many hours playing it. That game had blastable walls as well as moving ones, it had lasers and enemy helicopters too. You said something about going underground - I think you do that as well! Sounds like a good possibility!

I love that game.

You'll need an emulator and ROM to play really old school games
